Product Performance Introduction

Large Torque

The brushless rotor is a permanent magnet rotor. Because the brushless motor itself has magnetic force, the magnetic force is even greater after power is supplied, while the brushed motor itself has no magnetic force. After power is supplied, the magnetic force is much lower than that of the brushless motor. Therefore, the difference in torque lies here.

High Efficiency

Brushless has a large magnetic field after power is applied, and a large force after conversion into kinetic energy. Example:
 
(1) When cutting 16 threaded steel bars under the same load, the 125-inch angle grinder only needs 2 seconds to cut one cut, while the brushed product needs 5-10 seconds (see the cutting table and video, and let the customer cooperate to do the cutting experiment in the customer's workshop, the effect is more intuitive)
 
(2) It is like a 10-ton truck, and a brush is like a 2-ton truck. In operation, no matter when the grinding disc is cutting or grinding, if it encounters a heavy load, the resistance will make it much more difficult to slow down a 10-ton truck than a 2-ton truck. The speed will be smaller, which also means that the cutting and grinding speeds are faster.
 
(3) The high efficiency comes from the small speed drop of brushless angle grinders when the starting and ending no-load speeds of brushless and brushless angle grinders are similar. The working efficiency of brushless angle grinders when in use is generally 50%-60%, while the working efficiency of brushless angle grinders is about 80%-90%. Take traditional brand machines as an example: The rated no-load speed of Metabo 100 angle grinders is generally 11000r/min. When the load is 1000W, the speed of traditional angle grinders is generally around 4000 to 5000r/min. 
The no-load speed of Wicker and Dayou 100 angle grinders is 12000r/min. When the load is 1000W, the speed of traditional angle grinders generally drops to about ﹤6500r/min. However, the no-load speed of the Ralun brushless angle grinder is 12000r/min. When the load is 1000W, the speed remains at about 12000r/min. The super motor characteristics ensure that there is almost no speed drop under the rated working load state, ensuring the optimal working efficiency of the machine. For the same 10,000-rpm machine, when workers are grinding under load, the optimal efficiency point of a brushed machine is around 5,500 rpm, and the optimal efficiency point of a similar machine is around 8,000 rpm. Under the same load, the speed of a brushless machine is more than 2,000 rpm higher than that of a brushed machine, and the relative grinding efficiency will increase accordingly. The same principle applies to cutting.
 
However, if the load is very light and there is no pressure on the two-ton truck, the cutting and grinding efficiency will be similar. If the customer is trying it for the first time, it is recommended that the customer choose a workpiece with a relatively large working load to better reflect the advantages of brushless.

Save Consumables

Under heavy load conditions, the speed reduction of brushless motors is smaller than that of brushless motors. The speed reduction is caused by friction resistance, so consumables are relatively economical. (See the speed reduction ratio table) For example, under heavy load, it is like driving a brushless car at high speed and a brushless car at low speed. Under the same mileage, it is less likely to break the tire when driving at high speed. If it is under light load, it is not obvious. 
 
When grinding under load, if you encounter a heavy-load workpiece, the brushed machine will not reach a certain speed and torque, resulting in dry grinding. During dry grinding, the workpiece itself does not grind off enough iron powder, and the grinding disc is constantly worn out. The brushless machine has a high speed and high torque when grinding under load. According to the principle of inertia, the friction points of the brushed machine can be passed by the brushless machine, reducing the wear of consumables.

Long Lifespan

The life of a brush is limited by the wear of the carbon brushes and the aging of the commutator. Generally, the carbon brushes of a machine can be replaced one or two times, and the commutator will be scrapped. If a new worker does not pay attention when using it and keeps using the carbon brushes until the root, it will be easy to burn the commutator.
 
Example: The carbon brush is like the brake pad of a car, and the commutator is like the brake disc of a car. If the brake disc is worn out, it will break and have to be overhauled.
 
Since brushless machines do not have carbon brushes, their theoretical lifespan is very long. In addition, we have strengthened the strength of our mechanical parts according to the characteristics of the motor's electronic control. Gears (military tight-fitting gears), housings, bearings (Japan's NSK top bearings, Germany's ina needle bearings), output shafts, housings, and grease (Spain's imported gear oil) are all matched to improve performance, so their lifespan is much longer than that of brushed machines. From a publicity perspective, the continuous load working time of 100 and 125 models is 400 hours, 150 is 600 hours, and 180 and 230 are 1000 hours. Under the same working conditions, the average lifespan of brushless machines is 2-3 times that of brushed machines ( compared with international first-line brands such as Bose, Makita, DeWalt, and Metabo)
Operation Safety Protections

Overcurrent And Overload Protection

The control system is designed with overcurrent and overload protection. When the current or power exceeds a certain level during operation, the machine will automatically shut down for protection to prevent the rotor from being burned out by excessive current. After the machine shuts down for protection, restart the switch and it can be used normally. For example, for a machine with a rated power of 1000W, when the load power exceeds 1500W (1.5 times the load), the machine will automatically protect the motor from damage. However, a brushless machine has no control system. If the load is too large for a long time or the machine stops due to excessive load, it is easy to burn out the rotor coil, resulting in high after-sales costs.

Overheat Protection

If the machine filter is clogged, causing the machine air duct to be blocked, the machine temperature may rise. When it reaches a certain temperature, the machine will automatically protect itself to prevent damage. You can continue to use it after removing and cleaning the filter (the only thing that requires user maintenance)

Power-off Protection

When the operator is using the machine, if there is a sudden power outage or the power plug has poor contact, the machine will not start automatically when the power is turned on again. It is necessary to restart the switch after the power is turned on for normal use (to protect personal safety). Brushed products do not have power-off protection and soft start functions. If a similar situation occurs, the worker forgets to turn off the switch and the inertia of the high speed after the power is turned on is likely to injure nearby personnel.

Soft Start

When a brushless machine is powered on, the machine speed will instantly reach the maximum speed. If it is not held tightly, it is easy to fall off and hurt people. The brushless machine has a delay time of 1-2 seconds at the moment of power-on , and will not reach the maximum speed instantly, which can better protect the safety of users.
